I am no longer active in this hobby for the foreseeable future.
I will no longer maintain or update the website, but I will leave it accessible to the web for as long as possible (years).

The Vintage Computer Festival

The VCF is an event celebrating old computers and their place in history, held at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View California. Just South of San Francisco, it is not only a great event to attend, but allows for some fun touristy stuff in and around Silicon Valley. Wooo-whoo!

The VCF is run by Sellam Ismail, a collector who has managed to turn his interest in antique computers into a thriving business. His business, VintageTech, is involved in patent litigation research and film consulting, among other things.

I love the VCF. Every time I have been has been a memorable and enjoyable time, but the most fun I have is as an exhibitor. I love putting together a display, and enjoy being able to show off my collection and talk with interested attendees.
