My Wish List
Although there are many computers that I might like to own one day,
many of them would not fit in my garage. I mainly try to concentrate on
finding the ones that will: Digital Group and Mark-8 equipment and
software. I also have a thing for anything with the Scelbi name on it,
books, hardware, whatever. If you run across anything while cleaning out
the closet, I'd be happy to help you make more space!
My thanks to all who have helped!
Here is the short list:
Digital Group stuff, Hardware: If
you have ANYTHING by dg that you are willing to part with, I'd like to
hear from you! Although there are several things I have plenty of, there
are also MANY things I do not have. You might have something! Please
contact me!
4096 Picture Element Color Graphics Card:
Has anyone ever even seen one of these?
1702A EPROM Memory Board: Cool item
Standalone Audio Cassette Interface: I would actually like
this to go with my Mark-8
Mini-Disk Subsystem: This is the 5-1/4 inch disk drive
system in a DG cabinet. Oh please, oh please, oh please!! :)
Basic Box & Peripheral Plate: Anyone?
You get the idea! If it isn't already on my web site, and you
have it, send mail! :)
Software for tdg: Any application
that works with VOTRAX. A copy of MANUSCRIPTOR, Maxi Basic game sets,
Business Basic 2.2. Do you have something not seen on my Software pages?
tdg Flyers: 1 through 4, any other
flyer not seen on my Flyers page.
tdg Binders,
pens, notebooks, stationary, etc. You get the idea.
tdg Documentation:
Docs for any hardware I do not yet own (I'm being optimistic!). Please
contact me if you have anything you are willing to part with, or
photocopy, or scan! I'll let you know if I can use what you have.
Mark 8 Minicomputer I would like to
find an original (Not a modern copy!) memory card (With Techniques logo)
for my Mark 8.
SCELBI 8H or
SCELBI 8B (Holy grail class) Anything made or published by
Scelbi. Anything written by Nat Wadsworth. Especially anything with
"8008" in the title. I have a few things already, but I'm
looking for what I don't, again, please contact me.
To a lesser extent:
Don Lancasters original "TV
Typewriter"... To go with my Mark 8. Described in Radio
Electronics, September of 1973. I have the full plans for this one, but I
would like to find the hardware or any portion thereof.
Kenbak-1 / CTI, a complete one. I used to think that this was
an outright impossible find, but after hearing of eight of them turning up
in South Carolina in 2003, I figured, what the heck, it can't hurt to
mention!
An original Apple 1 Okay, it's not at the top of my list. I
guess I would like to have one mostly because I know I can't. :)
8008/4004/4040 Based machines, any make or model.
SWTPC 6800, terminal, cassette interface...
whatever ya got...
Altair 8800, 680b, a, b, or just whatever.
I was the only kid on my block without one.
